How long does delivery take for ulti-mate garage cabinets?

All ulti mate garage cabinets are shipped from our warehouse in California, and most will be shipped using LTL freight truck delivery. 

Depending on the state we’re delivering to, shipping times can range from 1 day to 2 weeks, although do note that most LTL freight orders will arrive at their desired destination within a week. 

Understanding the delivery process

As we ship using an LTL freight service, it’s helpful to understand how the shipping process works, and what you can expect:

• Once your order has been placed, we’ll begin processing it as soon as possible. Your order will then be packed and shipped, and you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email shortly after. The email will contain the name of the shipping carrier, and most will also include live tracking details.
• Your order will then arrive at your local freight terminal, and you’ll be contacted to arrange a home delivery. While most freight companies will contact you upon the arrival of your order, we’d recommend calling them yourself once you see that your order has arrived. 
• Once you’ve organized a delivery time, the freight truck will arrive at your property and put your items on a pallet at the side of your home. If you’d like us to help move your items into your garage, you can request this service at an extra fee. Contact us directly before placing your order for a quick quote.

Do you ship ulti-mate garage cabinets abroad?

Currently, we are unable to offer international delivery for ulti mate garage cabinets. However, we are happy for you to use a freight forwarding service at your own charge. This process involves us shipping your order to a freight forwarding service, who will then take charge of your international delivery. Do note that Garage Giant is not responsible for your order once it’s been received by your chosen freight forwarding company.

Preparing for delivery

If you’ve never experienced an LTL freight delivery service before, don’t worry - we aim to ensure that the experience is as simple and seamless as possible. Here’s what you’ll need to do before your ulti-mate order arrives:

• Ensure your property is accessible by freight truck. To deliver your items, our freight truck will need to be able to access the road beside your property, where your items will be placed upon arrival. This is known as ‘curbside delivery.’
• Make sure someone will be home to sign for delivery. An adult over the age of 18 years old must be present to sign for the delivery. Ideally, you’ll want to have two adults present, as ulti-mate items can be heavy, and depending on your order, you might need a hand moving the items into your garage. While some drivers may help you move your items, they are not obliged to, and may not be able to unless this has already been agreed to for a set fee.
• Have a dolly ready for heavier items. It’s a good idea to use a wheeled device to move heavier items into your garage, especially if you’ll be receiving your order alone. 

How does ulti mate delivery compare to other brands?

Most orders placed via Garage Giant will be shipped using LTL freight delivery, and shipping times remain the same across the board. When it comes to shipping and delivery costs (which are included in the overall price of your order) ulti-mate is one of the most affordable options: as all items are shipped flat-packed, freight container costs are considerably lower than those that arrived pre-assembled, such as Newage. Aside from cost differences, our delivery and shipping process remains the same for all orders over 150 lbs.
