Order Confirmation:

Immediately after placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that your items are in stock and ready for shipment. In the rare event that one of your items is on backorder, or is otherwise unavailable, we will let you know via email. Once your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will ship the order.

Order Shipment:

Your order will ship within the lead time we have posted on the product page. We will email you a tracking code within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse which you can use to monitor your delivery. If you have not received a tracking code from us six business days after you placed your order feel free to contact us at

Orders weighing less than 150 lbs will be shipped by FedEx, UPS, USPS or DHL. 

Orders weighing 150 lbs or over will be shipped by Freight delivery. This will arrive in a 48 or 53 foot truck so please ensure they will be able to approach your property in such a vehicle. Please email if you think this will present a problem. Once your items reach your local depot the delivery company will call you to arrange a date and time for delivery. Someone 18 years or older must be present to sign for the delivery. We recommend you have at least two people on hand to help you move your products. For bulkier items it makes sense to have a dolly or similar device to help wheel your goods toward your home.

Depending on the products you ordered, your freight delivery will be called 'curbside' or 'curbside + tailgate'. Curbside delivery means that your items will be left in the truck and it is your responsibility to carry them down from the truck and move them to your property. 

Curbside + tailgate means the driver will move your shipment down from the truck to the curbside outside your property. It will then be your responsibility to move them to the location where they will be used. Some delivery drivers agree to take the pallet of your products nearer to your property but many do not and they are not obliged to do so. Remember these drivers are not Garage Giant employees so they may not be willing to move your items further than they have to.

For an additional charge it is possible to have your delivery expedited or upgraded to a service whereby the carriers will move your delivery into your home for you. Contact us for details of additional shipping services.

International Orders:

International Orders (except Canada) require special processing. When you are entering an International Order, please complete all the necessary information. We will get a shipping quote from one of our International shippers and contact you with the final charges for approval. The order will not be shipped or charged unless it is confirmed by you. Please note: You will be responsible for any applicable taxes and/or duties that will need to be paid upon delivery.

Canadian Orders: We do not ship directly to Canada, however, we will ship to a US-based freight forwarder of your choice. We recommend you first contact the desired freight forwarder to obtain their shipping and receiving processes. You will be responsible for all duties and tariffs on Canadian shipments, along with coordinating with the freight forwarder for delivery to final destination.

All shipments should be carefully inspected before signing for the delivery. If you notice any damage, you should note it on the freight bill when signing for delivery. If your product is defective, or has sustained damage during shipping, please contact us right away. If you do not notify us of such damage within 48 hours of receiving the goods, the shipping insurance will be void. Please take photographs of the damaged packages and send them to us. Remember to keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. All returns need to be authorized by our customer service department prior to sending.

If delivered by Truck Freight, please contact the freight carrier at the phone number on the carrier’s bill. After contacting the carrier, please call Garage Giant customer service for further assistance with the damaged shipment. Please note, signing for your delivery without noting any damages or inability to inspect the delivery on the relevant paperwork legally states that you have received your freight in good condition and Garage Giant cannot be held liable for any damages, missing pieces, etc. that may be incurred as a result of this decision. Leaving a note or instructions for the driver is considered to be the same as signing for your products in good condition. If you authorize the freight company to leave freight without a signature Garage Giant cannot be held liable for any damages, missing pieces, etc. that may be incurred as a result of this decision. If you choose to sign for a visibly damaged item please note on the relevant paperwork that you are signing for a damaged package; however, Garage Giant cannot be held liable for any damages or missing pieces accepted via signature delivery.

Cancellations & Refunds:

To cancel an order, reply to the confirmation email you received when you placed your order online. Just tell us why you need to cancel and we will process it as soon as we can.  All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $50 administration fee, regardless of whether your order has shipped.  If your order has shipped, you will also be responsible for the return shipping charges in full. Refunds will be issued to the credit card that you used when placing your order.

Returning A Product

If you need to return an item, email us at returns@garagegiantusa.comPlease note that you cannot return an item without a valid return authorization number. If you attempt to send the item back without a return authorization number, it will be refused, and you will be charged the shipping costs to return it to you. Returns will only be accepted within 14 days of your receiving the product. The product must be returned unopened in its original packaging. We do not accept returns of used products. If a product is being returned because it is faulty or was delivered in a damaged state you must have detailed the problem on the delivery driver's form and we ask you to send us photographic evidence of the problem when applying for a return authorization number. If we confirm the product was shipped to you with a fault or became damaged before it reached you, we will cover the cost of the return shipping in full and issue you an identical replacement of the product free of shipping costs as per the original purchase. Customers choosing to return goods for all other reasons are responsible for paying all shipping and handling costs for the return delivery and must pay a restocking fee of 25% of the original sale price if the products are unused and in their original packaging.
