They are resistant to most oil, acid and solvents and their extra thickness of 0.5 inches makes them able withstand up to 25,000 lbs of rollover weight. Installing them is a simple matter of clicking them together by hand and, if you like, adding some Home Series edge pieces to create a smooth transition around any edges that do not run up to a wall (always leave a 0.25" expansion gap between the tiles and wall).
